During university, Robert Hemsworth (BPE, Bed, MRSC, RMT) developed a fascination with the human body; specifically how it is built, functions and breaks down. As a result Rob has devoted his working career to developing effective ways of restoring optimal function to the injured. Massage therapy has been the best medium for Rob to pursue this endeavour. Every day, Rob witnesses the complex nature of the body and has come to appreciate how different each patient is, both anatomically and functionally.
Over the last 15 years, Robert has established a successful, evidence-based practice which meets the specific demands of each individual patient while striving to ensure they obtain maximal health benefit. Rob currently enjoys dividing his time among clinical work, instructional work at West Coast College of Massage Therapy, and as a student at the University of British Columbia.
